Hmm, just deleted about three long paragraphs I was goin' to post before realising my personal issues ain't anyone's damn business but my own.  Just needed some place to type some stuff out my head I guess, but ain't needing to make it public.  So here's some stuff relevant to this site :

'Into The Eagle's Nest' - My competition entry for the Retro Remakes contest.  Is unlikely to be at a satisfactory stage to be submitted before the contest deadline but I'm still working hard on it.  Obviously I'm pixelling it all and designing it (making several large improvements to the original game), Hyun has been doing some great stuff with the coding (with some help from SimonDonkers and Pug Fugly).  Of course even if it ain't done in time, it will be finished afterwards (there will be an updated version either way that includes some extras like an intro sequence) so there.  Something to look forward to for anyone who likes the old style 'top down shooters' like 'Gauntlet' and 'Alien Breed' and obviously the original 'Into The Eagle's Nest' on the old 8/16 bit home computers or just anyone who likes a good fun two player co operation game (two players on same machine).

Got some Eo Mini's planned too.  Again more two player fun.  First one coming up is a retro style platform shooter that looks like it's somewhere between NES and Super NES style.

Oh yeah... sorta unrelated (though not much cos it's about me and I'm writing this) I turn 27 next Saturday.  Bit anxious about that.

27 eh?  I recently turned 26 and I feel your pain... that sudden sense of mortality sinks in kinda like a lead brick hitting water, doesn't it?

It's the fact I'm getting closer to 30 without having a damn clue what the hell I'm doing which is bothering me.  Got no savings, got no job, live in a crappy apartment with druggie neighbors, ain't got a driver's license...  Yet I don't feel too depressed these days... more just anxious that there's so much I wanna sort out.
