I've been working on Untitled for about a year now. Wow. That's alot of work to put into something non-profit, and it's wierd how much stuff has gone by with this game in the background...
-Final exams and graduation
-Two job changes
-A relationship (and breakup)
-A family vacation
It's starting to seem like everything that has happened in the last year has only been to contribute to this game. But I am also very tired right now.
Meanwhile, the theme of the game has entered a liquid state as the plot reveals itself. Characters have been introduced now and real dialogue has been spoken. In fact, there are even dialogue trees. The game is slowly showing it's teeth, and they are sharp indeed... but sharp in a way that you do not know you have been bitten. My goal is, as it always was, to keep the player in a state of darkness until they manually work through it, exposing the unfiltered truth beneath. You must wade through a pool of characters you have never met that seem to have anticipated you - they obviously know what's going on in the chaos of the world when you don't even know why they're standing in front of you. In a way, you're in a state of continuous confusion, but I prefer to call it a state of continuous discovery.
Of course, unfiltered truth is also notoriously hard to read. That is, it is not always apparent. Often I refuse to explain myself openly when it comes to "crunch time", and it is these times where a jump is required - perhaps also a double-jump - to a conclusion of your own. This is where we reach interesting ground, because this is where things start to make sense... when you make them up. They start to make sense because it was you who made this jump, not me - I've defined the constants now you fill in the blanks.
Make an educated guess.
...and now we've stopped talking about Untitled.

"Continuous discovery." Oh yes, I love games like that. Always intriguing, and draws you in, and keeps you playing.
It's great to know that this is going to have a lot more depth apart from just being a fun-filled exploratory action game, which I thought it was initially. One year is a good while. Well done that this will be your most comprehensive, matured and ?dramatic? game yet.
Working well to build anticipation. :)

I'm absolutely looking forward to it, it's going to be great. Although I've seemed to notice that most of your games are actually pretty hard, this one I think, is no exception, however it's looking good, I'm intreaged. Good luck finishing it.
