Horace & The Spiders won the Retro Remakes Compo, which got me a prize and a free trip to the Retro Ball!
I had a great time on the weekend - it was held in a cricket clubhouse, and was packed with arcade machines, old consoles and computers, pinball tables etc. Plus there were UK videogaming celebs like Archer Maclean, John Hare, the Oliver Twins, Rob Hubbard etc..
I'm hoping they'll organise another one next year, as I gather this one was a great success (raised a lot of money for charity).
So, now Horace is sorted it's back to R2S9 in earnest. It's back on track. I'll go for a mid-January release. I'll become a father for the first time at the end of January and my GM time will become limited for a while (about 18 years..!) so I'll need to get R2S9 done before then.
So to those of you who've sent me the impatient emails the wait is almost over...
