I haven't updated in a long space of time, and for that I apologise. A "long space of time", of course, refers to half a month. Translating it into an exact value in the human units of time makes it seem less formidable a break, at least to your truly, but experiencing it draws an altogether seperate conclusion. It was indeed a large space of time, and the earthly name we give for said space of time is irrelevant.
I have revealed my next release. Its name is an anti-name of sorts, producing a paradox if you really want it to. The name itself is "Untitled", and I say that literally. It is the final name thus far, though I am known (feared, if you will) to have my mind changed sporadically.
The Helix Games Community has had access to the demo for quite some time now, and I am content, to say the least, with the response.
Untitled, by it's nature and premise, is an irrational game grounded in rational traditions. The gaming conventions engraved in our skulls by years of platformers are alive and well within it - I admit I am inspired by many classics in this endeavor. Where I'm going crazy is in the presentation. All facets are designed/written/etc by me, but not because I think I'm just that good. In fact, quite the opposite. As an example, my ineptitude at musical composition makes the tracks all the wierder - and wierd is ideal for a project such as this.
I end with a screenshot. Normally, dusk changes to starlight in a gradual transformation in hue of the sky. This simply was not fast enough for me, so I made use of a (very) rough gradient to fuse daylight and twilight in one. The very walls of common sense are crumbling around me.
