I just happened to stumble upon an amazing artist today, and fell so deeply in love with the guy's magic paintings that I went and shelled out ?30 to get his pictures in print. First time I've ever bought an artbook.


He's apparently twenty seven years old and from Brazil. I've never really had any kind of grasp on Brazilian culture, aside from all the carnivals you see on TV, so this was a pleasant surprise.

Maybe I'll be able to get some inspiration from the guy in my future games. Would be awesome to see games that looked like this for sure.

Wow. Beautiful, strange stuff. Makes me jealous. I guess I can't be good at everything, though.

Just got the artbook in the mail today, home delivery and all. 250 pages of beautiful artwork, really cool stuff. The size was kind of small, but I don't mind really. I'm very happy with my purchase  :)
