I'm already hard at work on my next project. As the banner above tells you, it is titled Jumper 3, with the additional subtitle of Infinite Castle. The subtitle is tentative.
Anyhow, I'm going to provide info on the game slowly as I work on it through this blog. Most of the planning is done (I've been planning it as I worked on An Untitled story as well) and now comes the fun part: creating the world I've envisioned. Development should progress much faster than with my previous project, as I've actually planned the game from the start, rather than just coding aimlessly until near the end as I did with An Untitled Story. Of course, as soon as I get back in school my free time will be cut drastically.
Also implied by the banner, the game employs a very retro style. I've thrown out everything I had made for the game before I started An Untitled Story and started from zero. My plan was to completely ignore Jumper Two's source code and start from scratch... make something fresh. Jumper Two was a huge change from the original game, while still keeping in the spirit of the series, and I aim to do the same thing here. Rather than over-complicate the story and force RPG elements upon Ogmo while still keeping basically the same gameplay (as was the plan for Jumper 3 when I finished J2), I'm going to shake things up a bit but still deliver some great hardcore platforming.
More details in the coming weeks.

Heh, can't wait to see how it progresses. I remember the old days of Jumper 2... painful memories.

I think anyone who willingly starts a second or third platform game worries me.

Jumper 2 took me 6 months to complete . To some people, Jumper is hard, others it is easy. Maybe there will be different dificulty modes *hint hint*.
