Switched off the widescreen? Though I'm not complaining, that means I could actually play it (when it comes out). Nice progress, love the style.

No - I just cropped the image to save on miles of trees. :P
It's widescreen all the way.

Just to ask a bit of technical stuff regarding GM - when we're talking widescreen, if I'm using a widescreen monitor (1440x900) would the game fit my screen exactly?

It's 860x480, so it would probably scale up in full-screen mode almost exactly - the game's 1.791 (where as strict 16/9 is 1.77~), and your monitor res works out to 1.6 ... um... I have no idea. Probably. :P There'll be a windowed mode on anyway - it scales up fine so I won't be touching anyone's system resolution this time.

Could ya put an option for resolution change though? I'm one of those people who hate windowed games and find the blurring caused by the scaling to really look ugly, and I'd like this game to look it's best on my screen cos I really do like the look of it.

Not to be pointing this out late in development, but could you make the game run at a standard definition?

The closest change would be to WVGA (854x480), a standard 16:9 widescreen resolution. At least then people with a 16:9 setup could go fullscreen with decent scaling.
Currently no, nor would it if he changes it to WVGA. You are currently running 8:5 widescreen.

A fex pixels of missing transparency. Will fix...

I'll have a look at this (incl. resolution change) post-dev. There'll either be a neat way to do it at runtime, in which case I'll implement it, or there won't, in which case I'm not changing that many view definitions (let alone what it does to the lighting system) now, so, probably not. :P But it does cycle between windowed, scaled-fullscreen and unscaled-fullscreen though... not that that really helps much.
