Well in America, people do as they see fit.
Ah yes, one of the most individualistic societies in the world. Do you know that you guys are extremists (and currently imperialistic), from perspective of many other cultures? :P Heheh.

really, well I for one wouldnt say something like, all germans are nazis for example. Because its not true.

SO in the same respect, america might seem a certain way but dont blame its people. Its the sole judgment of a few 100 people, not the entire country.

well most of the country dont agree with our leaders as there agendas have changed.

Let me just quote ben franklin on this one:
"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. "

It sucks that we live in a world with terrorists, however our goverment is trying to control too much.

A few 100?  America is jam packed full of whackos.

I remember when George Bush was being elected.  Plenty of interviews with Christians who were voting for Bush 'cos he was the biggest Christian.

Religion controls most of America.  This is also true of a lot of other countries - but the terrifying part is that America is the most powerful country in the world.

The fact that there is Creation Museum newly opened in America, that claims Noah's Ark is actually a factual story, and that T Rex was initially vegetarian - this fact frightens the hell out of me.  T Rex only had sharp teeth to crack coconuts you know...  There are millions of people in America who swallow this garbage hook line and sinker.

Look at George Bush.  How did such a blatently stupid man get to be the most powerful man in the world?  That's what the American people did.

Of course I would just like to point out that I do like America, I've been there a couple of times and enjoyed it immensely.  Also most of the people are nice.  I just find it a bit terrifying the way that religion seems to be running the place - after all, didn't God tell Bush to invade Iraq?

Canadians are lucky, we just get to avoid the larger chunk of the criticism, despite being pretty much -/copycats of our southern neighbours :P We are spoiled though. (That's right, neighbours with a U!)

P.S. zOMG new thread.
zOMG looks like the same one to me. Keeps conversations more fluent when it's all in one thread anyway; more realistic. What is the Z for in zOMG anyway?

Why are you bashing someone behind there back? What's the point in this thread? To put someone down to make yourself feel better?
