...and here I am, suddenly thrown into the divine chaos that is EO. Pug Fugly sure is a master of great timing. Last week, I was tied up with a catastrophic registration process, recovering from some horrendously bad ice cream that sent our team's sound artist to the hospital, trying to rush through the production of a top-secret game project, and attempting to finish up a couple of my long, meaty reviews for GameMakerGames.com. And at the climax of all that, I get an email saying that I'm accepted into EO, out of nowhere. I can't even decide whether that is good or bad. The timing is so... perfect.
Well, anyway, things have finally settled down for me. I'm overcoming those consecutive "traumatizations" one by one... and finally, I've reached the "EO induction shock". I'm sitting here, still a little baffled. I didn't have high hopes of getting into EO. I mean, as a few said, I don't really have a track record. So... I have nothing prepared. I took down my original website and replaced it with a single, easily-maintable webpage that is already outdated and in shambles. No eye-candy there. I've yet to write up a biography (yeah, I actually care about stuff like that). There are many expectations on me, but having spent a great deal of effort kick-starting the new Game Design Theory forum I suggested for GameMakerGames.com, I'm a little worn out to start contributing Eo (I just remembered that it's "Eo", not "EO" - my bad) Articles of sparkling quality.
And unless other Eo Members start complaining, I'll probably blog frequently, as I also use it as a development log to collect my thoughts and recap my progress each step of the game-making process. The team project I'm working on is top secret though, so until that is done, you won't see much of this yet.

Heheh, lucky you. I hope you get the most out of the community.
Me? I'm probably too arrogant to be an Eo member. Ah well. =P
On a side note, that must have been some NASTY ice cream.
