I've decided that An Untitled Story will be shareware.  But, don't worry!  It isn't going to be the typical kind of shareware.  I got the idea from fellow eo member cactus' Akuchizoku.

Anyone who donates at least $1 at my site I will send the final game when it is done.  Easy as that.  Donations will be taken through PayPal, so all you need is a credit card or PayPal account and an email address.

You can donate now or when it is done.  As soon as I receive your donation I will add your email address to the list.  Make sure you give me your email when you donate, so I know who to send the game to!

You can donate to yomamasmama@helixgamesinc.com or go to my site (http://www.helixgamesinc.com/) and click the donate button on the main page.

Some notes:
-The game will probably be released for free some day, so don't think of it as buying the game, think of it as donating and getting the game early as a gift.
-Higher donations are encouraged and will be very greatly appreciated.  I'll have a list of generous donors somewhere on my site and might end up sending out some bonus stuff (soundtrack, map, etc) for generous donations.
-If there are bug fixes later on I will send you the new versions as I release them - in effect you'll be on the Untitled Story "mailing list" so-to-speak once you donate, until the game is released for free.
-There will be a new demo released at the same time as the final game, to tempt you into donating =P

I'm doing this because I need money badly to fund my education.

Shareware's good. My team and I haven't covered our production expenses yet.

Good luck YMM.  I suspect that there will be a massive demand for the game, I guess the question is how many of those people will be able to send you a few quid for it.  Hopefully lots!
