That would be a complete distraction. I'm glad Ulti focused more on Iji's fluent animation rather than her looks...
Nonsense. A single image of Iji on the title page can create a persistent "illusion of sexiness", without creating any distraction within the game itself. Otherwise, it seems like anti-conformity for the sake of anti-conformity alone, without consideration of how much of a difference it will make in how many people may potentially like this game. It may appear shallow, but a more graphically-defined heroine creates a stronger connection with the players.

what if ulti already envisions iji as hot? or if he were to change her to be hot in his eyes, would she qualify as hot to you?
if he iterated her until you thought she was hot, how many other folks (including ulti) would agree?
sounds to me like making her "hot" would seem like conformity for the sake of conformity alone...
why not just grab a photo of the lady that you think is the hottest in the world, and hold it up over the title screen each time you play?
you'll be all set to blast through the game with dreams of sexiness abound.

Pug: Because of its depth though, it's a hardcore gamer's game. I mean, it's not a lunch break game. Add in the nonstandard gameplay, and you see why I keep saying I will not expect the game to be very popular. I'm nervous for the next alphatest with my classmates.
And I'd hardly say Iji has the depth of Deus Ex or System Shock 2, I only use them as a comparison due to their key differences from games like Doom. I wouldn't dream of living up to those games, but they're definitely an inspiration, just like Out of This World is the inspiration for the graphics.

JXQ!? How in the world did you find this place? Besides Googling yourself?
*Obligatory worship of your OoT TAS commentary*
Speaking of which, Iji is quite built for speedrunning, though it's not TAS-able.

Hey that looks pretty sweet. This is the first time I've heard of this game but the mechanics sound interesting, more of a tactical shooter. And the fact that the lead character is a woman is really COol!
